Dr. Schroeder was born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia. He and his wife Cindy have four children. Through them, they have become very involved in dance, drama, gymnastics, judo and hockey here in Thunder Bay. Dr. Schroeder’s interest in natural medicine began in the early 1980’s with training and certification in Reflexology and Touch for Health. He attended Simon Fraser University in Burnaby, B.C., in an honors program in kinesiology. In 1984 he moved to Toronto to begin chiropractic studies at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. While in school, he independently studied acupuncture, herbology and applied kinesiology. Dr. Schroeder moved to Thunder Bay in 1988 to start practicing chiropractic with Dr. Dan Gleeson, D.C., a diplomat in Applied Kinesiology. Dr. Schroeder has continued to further his education with training in acupuncture, homeopathy, nutrition, craniosacral therapy, visceral manipulation Pettibon Spinal Biomechanics and electroacuscope. In 1993, Dr. Schroeder opened a new multi-disciplinary clinic, Natural Health & Chiropractic.
